Story Making Partners project web site
This web site brings together the facts on a new, exciting, fun way that families can learn together. Story Making© encourages a love of language and story while improving children’s spoken language and writing skills.
Research has been undertaken in early years' settings across two local authorities to investigate how Story Making© can provide an effective vehicle for family learning. It has addressed an urgent need to re-energise and inspire families to communicate in enjoyable and engaging ways.
The 'Parents and Carers as Story Making Partners' project has been jointly funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the International Learning and Research Centre over a two year period (2007-2009).
